No regrets, other than the usual desire to make it better next time. and of course, some amount of "believability". That is why we tried to add lots of "memories" from the sixties, like the scoop. Like you guys, I have always done the opposite of patina paint. I started thinking about "possibilities", and it became an interesting concept to develop. He has shown me he likes unusual ideas, and tells me what he wants to do on this one. Then this established customer comes along, who has a garage full of trophies now, because he stays away from the "generic" builds. except for a couple satin black street rods! It was pretty bad, but since then I have spent a career trying to make things ever more perfect. Buyer is responsible paying a deposit as soon as possible, as well as take care of shipping. As I said earlier, I also am a shiny paint guy. Pictures were taken 1 day prior to posting, what you see is what you're getting. If you have any questions feel free to ask. It is getting harder and harder to find honest trucks like this one. I have driven it to Georgia, Daytona, and everywhere I've ever wanted to. This truck has been my daily driver for nearly 3 years. The windshield has been cracked since I purchased the truck, seat has a vertical rip at aseam thatI believe can be sewn back together. I have the original owners manual, as well as amaintenancelog from the original owner whichI thought was pretty cool. The wheels were powder coated gloss black, feature era-correct hub caps, and are wrapped by Hankook Optimo tires. A yellow top Optima battery powers the entire truck and allows for you to play music for hours while the car is not running. The speakers are hidden within the dash, and under the Cool-Pak under dash unit once again to keep the original look within the interior. The truck also features a sweet Bluetooth sound system which includes a JL audio amp, JL audio subwoofer, and 3 hidden speakers. The Vintage Air system was routed to an original Chevy Cool-Pak under dash unit in order to keep the OG look. Inside the vehicle a new Vintage Air A/C system was installed that blows ice cold. All these suspension and brake upgrades also include a 5-lug conversion. A new drive shaft was installed and the differential was also swapped out for lower gearing (3.07) in order to get better gas mileage and great highway cruising speed (60-75 MPH). It looks classic this way but I have heard that surface rust 'patina' can keep eating. It is light brown surface rust on the hood, top of the fenders, top of tail gate, and along top of doors under the window. It has the patina that you see on most cars that have been sitting outside. The truck’s rear end was also replaced with a brand new one, which led to brand new rear drum brakes. My '76 Bronco is original uncut with original paint. The front brakes have been upgraded to a power disc brake set up (drilled & slotted). The spindles, springs, shocks, C-notch, track bar, and other suspension parts have all been replaced with known quality parts like CPP, belltech, McGaughy’s, and more. The truck has been lowered approximately 6 inches in the front and 10 inches in the rear. Aside from its preserved originality, the truck has been tastefully modified to my liking. The surface rust on the body panels does not have any holes or areas of concern, and the prior patch work done on the lower fenders has not shown signs of spreading. This truck truly does not have any cancerous rust. The original motor is backed up by a freshly rebuilt Muncie 4 speed (floor shift). Currently powered by the truck’s original Chevy 230 High Torque in-line 6, that only has 73,000 original miles (20k+ added on by me as this is my daily driver). This truck is truly a relic, featuring original paint all freshly buffed to a beautiful shine.
